Nestor Paul P. Ubalde, an agricultural engineer, highlights the potential of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) in waste management. This has led to the development of innovative technologies for an efficient and sustainable engineered farming system. The system processes and feeds BSF larvae with organic waste while maintaining a continuous life cycle, as all adults die at the end of reproduction.
